‘Lock it in’ Cabin Rates
When searching Virgin Voyage itineraries, the rate advertised is often the cheapest rate, a Lock it in Rate. While these fares can offer attractive pricing, they come with several notable limitations you should be aware of.
Important Considerations for Lock-It-In Rates:
Cabin Number Not Guaranteed Upfront: Your exact cabin assignment may not be provided until just before before departure.
Fixed Cabin Assignment: You won’t be able to switch cabins after booking. This means you could be placed in a less favourable location, such as near a noisy area or receive a Sea Terrace cabin with a restricted view or that lacks a hammock or has a metal balcony instead of glass.
Non-Flexible Travel Dates: Changes to your sailing date aren’t allowed, and if you decide to reschedule, you won’t receive credit toward a future cruise.
No Refund Policy: Once booked, these rates are final and non-refundable. They’re also not covered by the usual flexible cancellation policies, meaning you won’t have the typical seven-day grace period for a full refund.
No Referral Benefits: Bookings under this rate type do not qualify for referral program perks.
Restrictions with MNVV Placeholders: My Next Virgin Voyage (MNVV) placeholders can’t be applied to Lock-It-In Sea Terrace bookings.
75% off Second Sailor Promotion
Virgin Voyages is offering a limited-time promotion where you can enjoy 75% off the fare for your second Sailor when traveling together in the same cabin. This is the standard offer across all voyages and applies to all cabin types.
How the Offer Works
2 Sailors: Both the primary and second Sailor receive a 37.5% discount on their base voyage fare.
Four Sailors: If four people share a cabin, each Sailor gets 37.5% off their fare
Booking Window: This offer is valid for new bookings made between March 28 and May 29, 2025.
Eligible Voyages: Applies to all non-charter, open revenue voyages in select cabin categories .
This offer was previously 80% off (With bar tab) and has been reduced to 75%. It’s always best to book as soon as possible for the best rate.
On most rates you can have the voyage repriced if outwith 110 Days from your departure day.
Solo Traveller Discounts
Virgin Voyages is a great choice for people travelling independently.
Offers rates and cabins specifically designed for Solo Travellers including the ‘Solo Insider’ and ‘Solo Sea View.
These cabins feature a in room entertainment system, mood lighting, a roomy rain shower and more.
Virgin Voyages also runs promotions, including Sea Terrace Cabins for Solo occupancy that come without the usual solo supplement.
$150 Bar Tab | Referal Programme
Virgin Voyages has a Refer a Sailor program that offers NEW Sailors a $150 Bar Tab .
This credit can be used for drinks onboard and is a great way to enjoy the cruise experience.
To qualify, the referred Sailor must be a first-time Virgin Voyages guest.
The Bar Tab is non-refundable and must be used during the voyage.
This offer is not combinable with Lock it in Rates or MNVV and must be used at the time of booking.

10% Pay in Full Discount
Virgin Voyages offers a 10% discount when paying in full.
To be eligible, your chosen cruise must be 365+ Days from departure

RESIDENT RATES
Special discounted rates are available for residents of Florida, Georgia, and Puerto Rico, as well as for Canadian residents.
Proof of residency is required to qualify for these offers.
Virgin has also recently introduced exclusive rates for residents of the Northeast, including New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
15% MILITARY FIRST RESPONDERS DISCOUNTS
Virgin Voyages offer up to 15% discount for Military and First Responders in the US and Canada.
Proof of ID is required at Port to be eligible for this discount. You can see the full list of discounted voyages here.
My next virgin voyage (MNVV)
Virgin Voyages offers a special onboard deal called My Next Virgin Voyage (MNVV), designed for Sailors who want to book their next trip while still on board. This exclusive offer includes onboard credit (Sailor Loot), flexible booking options, and access to preferred pricing for future sailings.
Eligible Cabins: The Sea Terrace, Central Sea Terrace, and XL Sea Terrace cabins, as well as RockStar and Mega RockStar Quarters, are eligible for this offer.
Lock it In rates are not eligible.
